Some students at Lacey make their own lunches, others make their own workout schedules but there are four young ladies who are making their own dresses for a fashion show.
Two sophomores, one junior, and one senior will be showing their designs in the student division at 7:00 PM on Thursday, February 15, 2018 at Showboat Hotel and Casino. Lacey Township High School is the only high school competing among several colleges in the student division.
Ms. Singer who teaches four levels of fashion has encouraged her students to compete with their three designs.  Kylee Bragg, a second year design student,  is creating three evening dresses, Gabrielle Spafford, a second year design student, is creating three spring short evening dresses, Sierra Baker, a second year design student, is creating three summer evening dresses, and Noelle Castle, a third year design student, is creating Lingerie.
“These students are highly motivated, enjoy creating and designing their own clothing. They really are quite excited about their projects, the show, doing a great job on their designs and the girls are working extremely hard.  I truly  hope one of my students wins the top prize, which is $500.00 and a new sewing machine.  Even if one of them does not win, being able to enter into a fashion show with your own designs is an achievement all on its own.  I am very proud of all my students, and these four young ladies earn extra accolades” states Ms. Singer.
The Atlantic City Fashion Show runs from February 14-17, 2018.
