Despite the loss to a Pt. Boro team who came in at 9-2. Lacey was considered the underdogs and they fought hard all the way to the end.

In a unexpected result, Lacey fell at the end to a strong Panther team in a 46-44 contest. Coach McAndrew stressed rebounding along with playing great defense in which they did by slowing this high powered Panthers team. Carl Swenson played lights out, keeping his team in the game and giving them momentum when they needed it the most. With two up and coming stars who are so young in the two sophomores Jordan Cohen and Kalvin Kuhn, they will look to improve and develop them in the coming years.

Lacey adjusted a lot at halftime as they kept this a tight contested match. Lacey looked resilient and look to have a lot of confidence against this tough Pt. Boro team. Foul shots looked to be crucial as it came down to the end where Lacey lost by 2 points. Lacey may have lost, but they played a tight game against a very good Panthers team, and other teams should watch out.
