Members of the Lacey Township High School newspaper club recently went on a field trip to Rutgers University to learn about journalism. This program included many different workshops that taught various lessons about how to become a better journalist. Lessons such as marketing, how to make headlines, and even Instagram news were taught.

This program also offered classes on photographic journalism and how to incorporate multimedia into a newspaper article. One of the things taught about photographic journalism was the distinction between editorial images and photographic images.
