Jacob Serrano, Sports News

A game that went back and forth all the way to the 4th quarter. Lacey had their first home playoff game since 2008 and were able to get the win against Cherry Hill West.

It was a battle of the Lions and we saw a lot of different things for Lacey. We saw that Lacey has a lot of young building blocks for the future and the play by the young freshman Zimmerman didn’t go unnoticed as she contributed to an aggressive style of play on defense. While Biele, was able to show us that she is ready for whatever comes her way.

Ocskasy and Toth showed off in this one and were able to play a fast pace game to stay on top of Cherry Hill West. With an impressive showing on defense, Lacey was able to keep this a close one.

Cherry Hill West had the size advantage, but I believed that we have the speed advantage and that if we can speed up the game, it will disrupt Cherry Hill. ”

Lacey was able to pull this one out in the end and win 47-39 against the Lions and put themselves forward to the next round of the playoffs.
