Lacey Snags Best Video Award!

By Darrien DeFederico

This month, Zach Ramos, Trevor Stankiewitch and Jessica Schlagenhaft from Lacey Township High School created an award-winning short film. They won the “Best Video” Award at the Ocean County Cultural & Heritage Commission Salute to the Arts. The name of the film was “Heroin Destroys Happiness” and this took months to write, produce, film and edit. It was produced in cooperation with the Lacey Township Police Department. They were aided by Daria Saxton, James Capelli, Callam Fredericks and Ryan Krawiec. A special thanks is going out to Mrs. Haughwout for setting up the cooperative effort and for coordinating with the National Honors Society students.

At Lacey, students really know how to put together videos. Lacey AM News has been producing a daily news program every school day in the 2016-2017 school year. Great job guys!
