Justin Thompson was facing a 1-2 count with two outs in a 0-0 game in the bottom of the seventh today at Lacey.  He lined the next pitch to right field to score Colin Trembley, who was pinch running for Anthony Elefante.  According to Head Coach Corey Hamman, “Justin has had a hot bat during our recent 7 game winning streak”.

Tom Corragio, who got the save on Friday v. Central in a 6-5 win, threw a complete game victory on 79 pitches.  He only allowed 2 hits while striking out 6 and not allowing a single walk.   Coach Hamman likes the fact that Tom is versatile and can be used in relief or a starting role.

Lacey is now 10-1 on the season as they roll into the second half schedule.
